Better Blogger

I'm currently re-tooling my blog's design. I'm starting from scratch and doing my own dirty work (Cascading Style Sheets, ick). And with all the free time I have, you can expect to see the new layout sometime within the next year.
No, it won't take that long. But in the meantime, I would really appreciate some feedback. I have a few questions . . .
  • What brought you to my blog? Spinning workouts? Advice? Race reports? The lure of my general awesomeness?
  • Why do you keep reading? What are your favorite parts?
  • What would you like to see more of?
I really like writing, guys; I want to do more of it. And this blog is sort of the perfect venue, at this point. So thanks for being such an excellent audience!

  1. I just typed "My Mid West Twin" in to google and found you.

Good luck with the retooling! I'm always nervous to mess around with mine once I get it set up.

  2. I remember doing that! What a pain in the ass! I'm sure it'll look great though. I'll respond to your questions in the style of a myspace survey:

What brought you to my blog? I BELIEVE *YOU* FOUND *ME* Spinning workouts? UM, NO. Advice? I DON'T THINK SO. Race reports? SURE, OKAY. The lure of my general awesomeness? THAT, AND YOU LEAVE SOME PRETTY AWESOME COMMENTS. YOU SHOULD USE MORE OF THAT ATTITUDE IN YOUR OWN WRITING.
    * Why do you keep reading? TO SEE WHAT YOU'RE UP TO? TO FIND OUT WHAT LIFE IS LIKE IN KANSAS. BECAUSE I WANT TO AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME! What are your favorite parts? ERRRR...
    * What would you like to see more of? NAKED PICTURES. NOT NECESSARILY OF YOU. IS IT TRUE THE JAMIE LEE CURTIS IS A HERMAPHRODITE?

  3. I am new to triathlons and I found your site when googling "triharder". Just looking around for information on Triathlons. I kept reading.... I don't know, just found it interesting to hear of you experiences. I just bought a Nike+ for my Ipod and was looking for information on it. Going to try it in the morning. I ran my first race in early June after training for about a month. It was grueling. I am going to run another one in August and hope to be better prepared. I don't think I am training right, but keep at it. Which brings me back to how I found your site.... looking for information. I will check back on your progress. MC
