The Sufferfest: Tri Harder Indoor Cycling Podcasts

DMcQ wrote up a pretty cool review of my podcasts this week. Big thanks to him for the recognition, and for ways in which I can improve my offerings in that regard.

A reminder: if there's something in particular you'd like to work on, let me know! I'm totally willing to put together workouts by request (it's what I do for my classes here at the gym). And if you have ideas for how those podcasts can be better, feel free to leave constructive criticism. I'm tough; I can take it.

(Also, if you know how to do the podcast thing so it will work in iTunes, please help me!)

I'm currently recording the next podcast, so be on the lookout for that within the next week. This one is all about working up a sweat (because that's what my real-life cycling class wanted)!

  1. I just found your blog last weekend and am so excited. I was just asked by my local fitness club to start teaching spinning class. I've only attended spinning class, but never taught one. I am also a true biker (roadie & off-road), so biking comes natural to me.

I'm in need of music and spinning drills so I will be going over your older posts to see if I can get enought material together to teach classes. I started teaching last week, but only have one spinning CD that the fitness class bought....I'm sure we all will get sick of the CD pretty fast. So far I like what I see on your blog. I will have to try the podcast too since I do have an mp3 player.

  2. Oooh -- just saw your new post on podcasts too -- I am anxiously awaiting the sweat-fest! I have totally worn out my "building cadence 2" which is still my fave and I still do that 2-3 times a week on the trainer. In fact, we are having a major blizzard here yesterday and today so I am stuck on the trainer for a while looks like :-)

  3. Hey Jamie, Just wanted to let you know that I've moved The Sufferfest to another host, so the link from this post to your review has changed. It is now - http://www.thesufferfest.com/?p=92
I've noticed that a lot of traffic flows from The Sufferfest to your blog, so I imagine you've got a lot of new fans! How about adding The Sufferfest to your blogroll? Oh, and check out Sufferfest 5...let me know what you think. Cheers, David
